Responsibilities

  • Supports our growing trading business within the Downstream.
  • To grow technology knowledge while working closely with the business to expand business process knowledge in the Supply Chain Domain.
  • For our custom built trading applications (TORA, FPW, and PMR) acts as an SAP consultant by translating business requirements to IT requirements, and works closely with the developers to get those implemented.
  • Chance: to learn more about our new asset-backed trading (ABT) capabilities while developing valuable system enhancements focused on enabling new supply trading activities and growing value through Digital Transformation.

Technologies / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related fields.
  • Functional experience supporting SAP MM or SD modules.
  • Extensive experience in end-user application support.
  • Good understanding of ABAP programming language for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able / willing to travel internationally on occasion (< 10%).
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional IT and business teams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Frameworks (i.e. Scrum and Kanban).
  • Experience with SAP HANA technology.
  • Ability to manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of business application product lifecycle (design, implementation, change management).

Advantages

  • Working knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems and asset-backed trading principles (e.g. position management, priced inventory, etc.).
