The client / the project

The Technical Test Analyst is part of the Digital Engineering Team, responsible for providing technical
expertise in planning, designing and executing tests to mitigate risks related to performance, security,
reliability, portability and maintainability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.
  • Analyze the system’s internal structure in sufficient detail to meet the expected quality level.
  • Evaluate the system in terms of technical quality attributes such as performance, security, etc.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for automated testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, business experts, and other stakeholders to resolve testing issues and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and user stories.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
  • Perform integration (API) testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and REST Assured.
  • Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and new features.
  • Perform manual testing of backend systems (especially MuleSoft), mobile and web applications, creation / validation of GUI (Mobile Application) and API tests.
  • Document and communicate test results, findings and recommendations to the project team.
  • Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, providing clear and detailed bug reports.
  • Update and maintain test documentation and artifacts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and incorporate best practices into the testing process.
  • Mentor, coach, and train junior testers and interns, enhancing their skills and knowledge of testing.

Technologies / Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
  • Good communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitating skills and able to drive consensus involving technical and non-technical resources.
  • 2-5 years of experience in API and performance testing.
  • Professional knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
  • English (upper-intermediate).
  • Professional usage of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, and REST Assured.
  • Professional knowledge of SQL, NoSQL DB.
  • Basic usage of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of test management tools – Spira, JIRA, etc.
  • User-level knowledge of mobile applications and mobile operating systems.

Advantages

  • Specialization in IT / Computer Science / Engineering / Business is preferred.
  • ISTQB CTAL-TA is a plus.
  • Experience in retail IT systems is plus.
  • Basic knowledge of MuleSoft is a plus.
  • Basic Knowledge of Microservices is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce Core – Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud knowledge is plus.
  • Experience in working in agile / scrum environment is a plus.
