The client / the project

Our partner's advanced visualization solution is going through a breakthrough transformation to satisfy customers and provide market leader services from small to enterprise scale on premises as well as in cloud. These advanced visualization products are used in medical applications by radiologists, cardiologists and surgeons all around the globe and help to provide the best patient care possible.

 

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with hands on experience and strong strategic mindset to support creating a world where Healthcare has no limits.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional (design, build, test, process) teams to deliver high quality and impactful outcomes to our customers
  • Provide input to the short-term product roadmap and product design
  • Drive complex software systems design and integration plan through development team(s)
  • Be responsible for requirements development, flow down and analysis
  • Translate customer requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
  • Develop and analyze requirements, translating them into user stories.
  • Manage technical risks and lead scrum teams.
  • Understand user needs by engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between users, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leadership on system requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions, provide clarification, and conduct testing.
  • Engage frequently with development teams for user story refinement and design activities.
  • Manage risks, scope changes, and project roadblocks.
  • Contribute to long-term product vision.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on customer feedback.

Technologies / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields, medical or allied health sciences
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
  • Knowledge of software design and coding principles
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • System level thinking, system decomposition experience
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a strategy
  • Ability to analyze impact of technology choices
  • Excellent communication, mentoring skills (written and oral)
  • Rigor, curiosity, creativity and team spirit
  • Strong leadership skills for delegating tasks or directing the work of others

Advantages

  • Master's Degree / PhD in Computer Science
  • 5-10+ years of experience in software development
  • Experience in the medical or any other regulated software industry
