Responsibilities

  • Operation of 4 environments (PROD, UAT, TST, DEV): PROD and UAT in licensed environments with live data. TST and DEV in developer environments with anonymized data.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server 2022 and Power BI Report Server.
  • Establishing connections with various source systems.
  • Configuring and creating user permissions in production/development environments.
  • Documentation.
  • Creating technical users in environments (for source system transfers, as well as running ETL, Job, SSIS, Airflow, backups, etc., on the server).
  • Firewall configuration.
  • Installing and configuring Gateway servers.
  • Setting up proxy servers as needed.
  • DWH environment components: MS SQL (including SSAS, SSIS), Power BI Report Server, Azure Cloud and Airflow.

Technologies / Skills

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in operating and developing DWH systems, particularly in MS SQL, SSAS, SSIS, and Power BI Report Server environments.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server installation, configuration, and operation (including SQL Server 2022).
  • Practical experience in establishing data connections and integrating data sources.
  • Experience in managing multiple environments (PROD, UAT, TST, DEV).
  • Setting up permissions and creating technical users in production and development environments.
  • Precise documentation skills.
