The client / the project

The Salesforce consultant will conduct business process analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Will be responsible for requirements definition, solution design and implementation phases for projects, enhancements and sustaining support initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying and involving key stakeholders, examining business processes through interview, guiding evaluation of process improvements, defining and documenting business requirements. Will prepare functional and system specifications and work on complex projects independently and lead the effort of a team to deliver a solution design that meets client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted client relationship through proactive account management and effective project delivery
  • Maintain regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring that business needs are translated into opportunities and challenges addressed in a timely manner
  • Understands business processes, collects business requirements and translates them into technical specification
  • Works with Salesforce and related cloud technologies, designing and implementing the key technical components of the Salesforce solution.
  • Design, configure, test and document business solutions based on Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud platform
  • Acts as a technical owner of a set of Salesforce applications, has an ultimate business and technical competence in his/her field
  • Estimates the configuration effort by requirements and projects, creates cost estimates
  • Investigates and fix defects and incidents during development and application lifecycle, escalate issues to Salesforce developers if needed
  • Support testing activities, provide trainings
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce products, continuous learning

Technologies / Skills

  • University/College degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and / or Marketing Cloud
  • Has demonstrated Salesforce knowledge as an advanced administrator (2+ years)
  • Experience in data migration involving Salesforce
  • Experience and understanding of software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Waterfall
  • One or more current Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud)
  • Highly motivated, autonomous individual focused on clients’ needs
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to details
  • Customer focused approach
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Professional and proactive communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Team player
