The client / the project

We are looking for a design-focused Power BI specialist with a passion for creating clear, visually compelling reports. You will ensure reports meet high-quality standards by reviewing layouts, usability, and consistency, helping developers align with organizational design guidelines, including IBCS principles. Beyond QA, you will contribute to reporting standardization, support governance initiatives, and assist in documentation. You will also help deliver Power BI training sessions, guiding both developers and business users in best practices for effective data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Review and standardize report design, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and user-friendliness.
• Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of data models to ensure accuracy, performance, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Ensure the quality assurance and continuous improvement of Power BI data models and reports.
• Lead and support Power BI training sessions for developers and business users, fostering a culture of skill development and best practices.
• Contribute to documentation, governance initiatives, and administrative tasks to enhance consistency and adherence to established standards.
• Act as a versatile team member by providing backup support for various QA tasks and assisting in team activities as needed.

Technologies / Skills

• 1+ years of Power BI development experience, including testing, quality assurance, and report standardization.
• Strong knowledge in Power BI with a good understanding of data modeling and report design best practices.
• Good understanding of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles to support streamlined development and deployment processes.
• A detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on quality assurance, governance, and adherence to standards.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead training sessions and produce comprehensive documentation.
• Proficient English skills, both written and verbal.
