The client / the project

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing API tests and automation frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The role requires strong technical skills, especially in API testing and automation, along with the ability to work independently on test planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute API test cases using Postman, K6, and Swagger to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
• Automate test scripts and frameworks utilizing Robot Framework.
• Write, maintain, and enhance Python-based test automation scripts.
• Independently design comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to project requirements.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation standards.

Technologies / Skills

• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, K6, and Swagger.
• Strong proficiency in Robot Framework for automation testing.
• Programming skills in Python for scripting and automation.
• Ability to independently design and implement effective test cases and strategies.
• Knowledge of API documentation and testing best practices.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proven experience with API testing, automation, and scripting.
