Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure in collaboration with senior architects
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation), following best practices
  • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and integrations
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting solutions; support incident management and proactive failure prevention
  • Implement security and compliance solutions in AWS (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, etc.)
  • Develop and support identity and access management strategies and tooling
  • Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency through analysis and implementation of savings strategies
  • Manage capacity planning and full infrastructure lifecycle processes
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity solution implementation
  • Collaborate with vendors and support technology decision-making processes
  • Support, modernize, and optimize legacy applications in AWS environments
  • Assist with the integration and performance optimization of new and existing applications in the cloud
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis using logs, monitoring data, and scripting tools
  • Participate in technical mentoring of junior engineers and interns
  • Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases
  • Participate actively in cross-functional projects and execute ad-hoc tasks as requested by leadership
  • Provide on-call support as part of the team’s rotation

Technologies / Skills

  • Deep understanding of AWS services (IAM, EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS, etc.) and practical experience with large-scale system architecture and operations
  • Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline operations
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.)
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with network architecture design and optimization
  • Proven experience in security best practices, access control policies, and compliance standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in critical situations
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to team knowledge sharing
