The client / the project

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be part of our exciting journey to develop, build, provide a scalable, robust self-service infrastructure and metrics based on industry standard modern technologies. You need to deliver strategy related tasks, handle incoming requests for deployment, delivery & monitoring capabilities, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our complex platform that serve our customers (developers).

Responsibilities

• Act as a Thought Leader to identify, design and implement DevOps frameworks and automation to be used across an extensive and diverse range of products
• Help teams in case of problems with the tools that support Infrastructure, CI, CD and CT
• Monitor environments and react quickly and precisely in case of issue
• Provide self-service solution and automation of common infrastructure elements
• Support developer teams with deployment of our product
• Reviewing, classifying and evaluating all risks, defects which is related to DevOps
• Ensuring documentation integrity and quality for the program and DevOps area
• Interact with other development teams in a global context (US, France)

Technologies / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• Strong experience with DevOps activity (3 years of relevant work experience)
• Good knowledge of Linux / Windows administration
• Good knowledge of VCS and artifact repositories (Git, GitHub, Nexus and/or similar tools)
• Demonstrated experience in containerization (Docker) and virtualization (KVM, ESXi, Hyper-V…)
• Skilled in breaking down problems and documenting problem statements
• Has the ability to analyze and evaluate impact of changes, defects and different technology choices
