Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Entry: Gather data from various sources and input/map it into databases or new systems, ensuring the accuracy of every data point
  • Data Conversion: Identify and apply conversion rules to data in different formats
  • Data Cleaning and Validation: Clean and validate data to remove errors and inconsistencies, ensuring the information is reliable.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform project/business decisions.
  • Database Management: Manage databases, ensuring data is stored securely and can be easily accessed by those who need it
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create reports and visualizations to present data in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders/users.
  • Data Security: Ensure that data is protected from unauthorized access and breaches

Technologies / Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes.
  • Strong skills in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
  • Experience with data cleaning tools and techniques for ensuring high-quality data.
  • Familiarity with data security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
