The client / the project

Join our team as a Cloudera Administrator and bring your expertise to cutting-edge cloud solutions in both private and public environments. This role offers an exciting chance to work with leading technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenSource data engineering tools while collaborating with an innovative team. As an expert in DevOps and data platforms, you’ll contribute to key projects and build advanced infrastructure. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model: 50% on-site in Warsaw and 50% remote from Budapest. Expand your skills and shape the future of cloud engineering with us!

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and maintain Cloudera Private Cloud Platform infrastructure
  • Develop and support Cloudera Public Cloud Platform environments
  • Work with native private cloud technologies, including Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Implement and manage OpenSource data engineering tools, such as Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka, Apache Ranger/Atlas, and Apache Spark
  • Utilize programming skills in Python and Java to support platform operations and customizations
  • Apply DevOps and platform engineering principles, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and monitoring

Technologies / Skills

  • Strong experience with Cloudera Private and Public Cloud Platform engineering
  • Proficiency in Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • Expertise with OpenSource data engineering tools (Apache Nifi, Kafka, Ranger/Atlas, Spark)
  • Programming skills in Python and Java
  • Background in DevOps, with experience in CI/CD pipeline management and cloud monitoring
  • Fluent communication in English (verbal and written)
