The client / the project

We are looking for an experienced BI Developer with a strong background in Power BI and SQL to design and develop BI solutions. The candidate should be proficient in English, comfortable managing interactions with non-technical users, and bring at least 3 years of experience in the field. Our tech stack includes Power BI and SQL, and we highly value professionals who can translate business needs into technical solutions while supporting other team members in developing data visualizations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from various sources within the organization, such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and external data providers.
• Design and implement data integration processes to ensure smooth and consistent data flow into a central data repository.
• Perform extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to clean, transform, and format raw data for analysis.
• Design and maintain databases optimized for querying and reporting.
• Develop complex reports, including both transactional and analytical data solutions.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports that present data insights in a user-friendly manner using BI tools like Power BI.
• Develop visualizations that enable stakeholders to explore data and gain insights.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to efficiently retrieve data from databases, ensuring responsiveness even with large datasets.
• Design data models that define and organize the structure of data for analysis and reporting.

Technologies / Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BI development.
• Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization).
• Comfortable managing interactions with non-technical users.
• Create data models and visualize data using Power BI.
• Strong data visualization skills and the ability to present insights effectively.
• Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
