Responsibilities

  • Establishing and operating the release management process throughout the entire lifecycle of the GRIP project.
  • Preparing and maintaining the release plan: aligning schedules, dependencies, and resources.
  • Coordinating build and release processes between development, testing, and operations teams.
  • Defining release cut-off and freeze points, and ensuring compliance.
  • Managing risks and conflicts, with rapid escalation when necessary.
  • Close cooperation with the test manager in pre-release quality assurance.
  • Preparing and participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings: providing decision support at release go/no-go points.
  • Release documentation and communication: detailed minutes, schedules, informing involved teams and business areas.
  • Coordinating go-lives: supervising execution, ensuring roll-back plans are in place.
  • Monitoring and reporting on release KPIs (e.g., success rate of releases, number of incidents).
  • Join us in the office at Törökbálint a few times a week and enjoy the flexibility of working from home all the other days.

Technologies / Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in release management within complex IT projects.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Release, Deployment Management).
  • Outstanding organizational skills, strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Confident English skills, both spoken and written.

Advantages

  • Higher education degree in IT or engineering.
  • Experience in a telecommunications environment is an advantage.
