Responsibilities

  • Execute the platform migration, engaging all relevant stakeholders
  • Analyze and map the differences between current ("AS-IS") and future ("TO-BE") systems to support effective change management and ensure accurate and efficient process migration.
  • Ensure compliance with Hungarian and EU banking regulations and supervisory standards
  • Act as a subject matter expert for core payment system requirements
  • Collaborate closely with IT, legal, and business teams across multiple countries
  • Participate in working groups regarding the platform transition
  • Coordinate with analysts, developers, testers, and vendors to clarify specifications and deliverables
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of technical documents and solution definitions
  • Conduct IT-side testing and, if needed, take part in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Technologies / Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst with strong technical proficiency
  • At least 3 years of domain expertise in financial services, especially in core payments systems
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST-based interfaces
  • Advanced user of JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Fluent English (written and verbal), including ability to write and review complex documentation
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated banking environment

Advantages

  • Familiarity with international payment standards (e.g. ISO20022, SWIFT MT/MX, CBPR+)
  • Understanding of Hungarian regulatory and banking practices in payments
  • Experience with platforms such as Finastra GPP, FIS OPF, and AS/400
  • Prior participation in large-scale banking system transitions or migrations
