The client / the project

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on optimizing infrastructure and deployment processes to support data-driven solutions, including data lakehouse platforms, machine learning models, and Power BI reporting.

Our team is responsible for the full infrastructure lifecycle — from design and implementation to operation and support — for cloud-native data services. In addition to improving and maintaining existing systems, you’ll also participate in piloting and introducing new tools and platforms based on customer needs (e.g., Airflow, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and improve existing infrastructure (e.g., version upgrades, stability improvements).
  • Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and ML teams to ensure robust infrastructure support for data lakehouses, ML pipelines, and reporting environments.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform across Azure environments.
  • Participate in the evaluation, proof-of-concept, and rollout of new tools and technologies based on customer requirements.
  • Provide end-to-end lifecycle support for cloud-native services, including development, maintenance, and operational support.
  • Monitor system health and performance, and proactively address issues and bottlenecks.
  • Document infrastructure solutions, automation workflows, and support procedures.
  • Contribute to the DevOps culture within the team by promoting automation, reliability, and agile practices.

Technologies / Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline management and automation.
  • Solid understanding of the Azure cloud ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade support and operations.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code expertise using Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience supporting data-heavy platforms.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in English (working-level verbal and written skills).

Advantages

  • Experience working in data-focused environments (lakehouse architectures, machine learning models, Power BI reporting).
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn tools like Apache Airflow.
