The client / the project

We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join a medical product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software for medical products. They will also be responsible for working closely with the development team to ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

During your day-to-day activities, you are going to be responsible for designing, building, executing, and maintaining software testing. You will be working in an agile and international environment together with 6+ scrum teams.

Responsibilities

  • As part of an agile team, design, develop, and maintain software for medical products.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, applying modern software engineering practices, implementing unit tests, ensuring a sustainable implementation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development tools and technologies, and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of our development process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software meets the needs of customers.

Technologies / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming language.
  • Proficiency in OOP, standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
  • Experience with software development for real-time systems, embedded systems, and/or medical devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
