The client / the project

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing Cybersecurity team and work on innovative and high-impact projects across industries such as finance, telecommunications, energy, and automotive. This is an opportunity to help shape secure IT environments for top-tier clients while gaining exposure to diverse technologies and security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support in the preparation of RFQs, presales materials, and technical proposals.
  • Design tailored cybersecurity solutions and assist in selecting appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Configure and implement security tools (e.g., SIEM, DLP, endpoint security), including policy/profile design.
  • Participate in the development of internal cybersecurity processes and contribute to efficiency improvements.
  • Act as a technical representative of the Cybersecurity team in client engagements.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to solve cybersecurity challenges, including on-site visits where required.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging threats.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to client sites.

Technologies / Skills

  • Higher education.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or IT-security.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS).
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as:
  • SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel); Endpoint Protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint); Vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys); Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, PAM solutions, etc
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Experience working in agile or project-based environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written — able to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to work with colleagues from other IT disciplines.
  • Openness to new technologies and opportunities.
  • Accurate documentation skills.
  • Hungarian: Fluent (spoken & written - required for documentation and client interaction) + English: Professional proficiency (spoken & written — required for documentation)

Advantages
